If you have a gaming PC, you might be able to help with the current COVID-19 outbreak. This pandemic, currently affecting 149 countries, is quickly expanding in a movie-like fashion. People are reacting in the same way. However, there's hope!
In a tweet yesterday, NVidia's GeForce team invited gamers to lend out their unused GPU cycles into the Folding@Home initiative:
There are now several projects within the Folding@Home program, that specifically target this strain.

While I've had this application running at various times; I honestly forgot it was still around. GPUs these days are incredibly powerful math engines and having people donate their cycles is (pardon the double negative) not insignificant. So if you have a GPU, fast or not, please consider donating some computing to this program.
